Helmut Lang was founded by Peter Lang in 1983, and became one of the most influential brands in contemporary menswear. The brand closed its doors in 2016, but was revived by Peter Do in 2019. Now, after two years of hiatus, Helmut Lang will return with a new vision and direction under Peter Do’s leadership.

Ralph Lauren: A Comeback After Nine Years

Another highly anticipated moment of the NYFW is Ralph Lauren’s return for the first time since September 2019. Ralph Lauren is one of the most iconic and successful brands in American fashion history, known for its preppy and classic style. The brand has been absent from NYFW since then, but has recently announced that it will present its Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Lincoln Center on February 11.

Ralph Lauren’s comeback comes after nine years of absence from NYFW, which has been marked by challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, social movements like Black Lives Matter and Me Too, and changing consumer preferences.
