Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough have denied any rumors of a rift between them amid the legal drama over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate. The grandmother and granddaughter recently opened up about their close bond and their mutual respect for each other in separate interviews.
Priscilla, who was married to Elvis Presley from 1967 to 1973, told The Hollywood Reporter that she and Riley were never not on good terms. She said that the reports of a feud were all publicity and that the matter was private.

She also revealed that she was having dinner with Riley on the same day of the interview, and that they understood what needed to be done regarding the estate. She said that Riley wanted her there to help her, and that she was there for her.
Riley Keough Named as Sole Trustee of Lisa Marie Presley’s Estate
Riley, who is an actress and the eldest daughter of Lisa Marie, was named as the sole trustee of her late mother’s estate earlier this month, after a judge approved a settlement between her and Priscilla. The estate includes Graceland, the iconic home of Elvis Presley.
The settlement came after Priscilla filed a petition in January, contesting a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie’s will that removed Priscilla and a former business manager as co-trustees, and named Riley and her siblings as the heirs. Priscilla questioned the validity and authenticity of the amendment, as well as Lisa Marie’s signature on it.
Riley, who is also the star of Daisy Jones & the Six, told Vanity Fair that she was happy with the settlement and that it was what her mother would have wanted. She said that she and Priscilla had never been unhappy with each other, and that they had a bit of upheaval but now everything was going to be how it was.
Priscilla Presley Pays Tribute to Lisa Marie Presley’s Legacy
Priscilla also spoke about her daughter Lisa Marie, who died in January at the age of 54 from a small bowel obstruction. She said that she still couldn’t believe it and that she didn’t wish it on any mother.
She praised Lisa Marie for being a talented singer and songwriter, who had a passion for music and a strong personality. She said that Lisa Marie was very protective of her family and her father’s legacy.
She also said that she was proud of Lisa Marie for being a loving mother to her four children: Riley, Benjamin, who died in 2020, and twins Harper and Finley. She said that Lisa Marie had a special bond with each of them, and that they were all coping with their loss in their own ways.
Riley Keough Shares Her Love for Her Grandmother Priscilla Presley
Riley also expressed her love and admiration for her grandmother Priscilla, who she said was a beautiful woman who played a huge part in creating her grandfather’s legacy and Graceland. She said that Elvis was the love of Priscilla’s life, and that all she wanted was to love and protect Graceland and the Presley family and the legacy.
She said that Priscilla had taken on a big responsibility to preserve Elvis’ legacy, and that it had never been a part of their relationship before. She said that Priscilla had always been just her grandma.
She also denied any reports suggesting that Priscilla would not be buried at Graceland, saying that she didn’t know why she wouldn’t be. She said that sharing Graceland with the world was Priscilla’s idea from the start, and that it was a place of great sadness for her now because many of her family members were buried there.
