Karnataka Schools Reopen: The Schools and Pre-University (PU) Colleges in Karnataka has reopend from today, January 1,2021 for students of Class 10 and Class 12. The educational institutions has got reopened after a gap of nearly nine months. The decision to reopen of schools was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, after discussing in detail and the advice given by the state’s Technical Advisory Committee for COVID-19 on reopening of schools.
The Karnataka Education Minister, Satish Kumar, on Monday announced that regular classes for students of Class 10th and 12th will commence from the 1st of January 2021. A lot of other great measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the disease and the safety security of each of the students have been kept in the top priority.
He also added that the academic activity has to move on. We can’t stop until Vaccine will come. It will take its own time and vaccines will be provided at right time. It will take many months.
The vaccination can happen with its own timeline to vaccinate the entire society properly. It will take many months and years at least. So it is not so easy as we see probably what things are happening. People are attending and people are going from the schools and colleges and they are allowed with proper precautions. These are done not to waste the academic year as it is very important in the concern of students.
