Kamal Haasan РCoimbatore South: TamilNadu election is scheduled on 6th April 2021 and the result of the election will be announced on 2nd May 2021. At this time, all parties were busy in announcing their candidates in each and every area. Alliance parties are deciding for the number of seats that they will get in TamilNadu.

Kamal Haasan a veteran Tamil movie actor and founder of the Political party Makkal Needhi Maiam, will be contesting the upcoming state Assembly polls from the Coimbatore South constituency. He made the announcement today while releasing his party’s second list of candidates. Previously it is considered that he may choose to fight from Alandur in Chennai, a seat that former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran held for nine years.

Almost all the parties have decided their candidates to contest in all areas. DMK-Congress alliance and AIADMK- BJP are the two powerful parties of Tamil Nadu. DMK-Congress alliance hoping to win this election against the ruling party after a decade. Also, this is the first assembly elections after the demise of towering leaders J Jayalalithaa and M Karunanidhi. The filing of nominations will start on Friday and the last day is March 19.
