Fortnite, the popular battle royale game, has launched its latest season with a new theme of heist and adventure. The Chapter 4 Season 4, titled “Last Resort”, introduces new locations, weapons, skins, and reality augments for players to enjoy. Reality augments are special perks or boosts that players can activate during the match to gain an edge over their opponents. Here are some of the new and returning reality augments that players can find in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4.
On The Go Bag
This reality augment allows players to find an item from a Heist Bag in any container they open. A Heist Bag is a new item that contains useful loot such as weapons, ammo, healing items, and more. Players can use this augment to stock up on supplies quickly and easily.
Sniper Striker
This reality augment gives players a siphon effect when they damage enemies with snipers. Siphon is a mechanic that restores health and shields based on the amount of damage dealt. Players can use this augment to snipe enemies from afar and heal themselves at the same time.
Ammo Drop
This reality augment grants players more ammo and makes enemies drop more ammo than usual. Players can use this augment to keep their guns loaded and ready for action.
First Shotgun
This reality augment increases the damage of the first shot fired from a shotgun. Players can use this augment to deal massive damage to enemies at close range with a single blast.
Pistol Salvo
This reality augment reduces the fire rate of pistols but increases their damage output. Players can use this augment to make their pistols more powerful and accurate.
Fast Fisher
This reality augment lets players swim faster and loot fishing spots while swimming through them. Players can use this augment to traverse the water quickly and collect fish and other items.
Other Reality Augments
In addition to these new reality augments, there are also many returning or carrying over reality augments from previous seasons. Some of these are:
- Light Fingers: Reduces the time it takes to open containers.
- First Assault: Increases the damage of the first shot fired from an assault rifle.
- Supercharged: Increases the fire rate of all weapons.
- Steady Hands: Reduces the recoil of all weapons.
- SMG Sign Off: Increases the damage of SMGs when they have low ammo.
- Keymaster: Grants access to locked chests and doors.
- More Parkour: Increases the jump height and reduces fall damage.
- Rarity Check: Increases the chance of finding higher rarity weapons.
- Sprint Lines: Increases the movement speed when sprinting.
- Medium Ammo Acquired: Grants medium ammo when eliminating enemies.
- Mud Warrior: Reduces the movement penalty when walking through mud or water.
- Scope Salvo: Increases the damage of scoped weapons.
These reality augments can be found randomly throughout the map or rerolled using special machines. Players can only have one active reality augment at a time, so they have to choose wisely which one suits their playstyle best.
