Google’s second-generation smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 2, has recently passed through the FCC and IMDA regulatory bodies, revealing some of its key specifications and features. The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to launch alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones in October 2023.

The documents also confirm that the Pixel Watch 2 will run on Wear OS 3, the latest version of Google’s operating system for smartwatches.

The Pixel Watch 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 5100 chipset, which is a new processor designed for wearables.
