Kendall Jenner has revealed that she and Corey Gamble, the longtime boyfriend of her mother Kris Jenner, have had a strained relationship for three years after a heated argument that stemmed from a physical fight with her sister Kylie Jenner.
The Palm Springs Incident
The drama unfolded in 2020, when the Kardashian-Jenner family took a trip to Palm Springs. Kendall and Kylie got into a sister fight over a car ride, and things got violent. Kendall claimed that Kylie smacked her and put her heel into her neck, while she retaliated by kicking her back. The whole scene was captured by the cameras of their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Corey Gamble, who was in the car with them, tried to intervene and calm them down, but Kendall accused him of yelling and cursing at her. She also said that he told her to “fuck off” when she refused to get into another car. Kendall was furious and told her other sisters that she would never speak to Kylie or Corey ever again.
The Aftermath
The feud between Kendall and Corey did not end there. In a later episode of KUWTK, they had another confrontation over the phone, where Kendall demanded an apology from Corey for his involvement in the fight. Corey, however, refused to say sorry and called Kendall a “rude person” and an “asshole” who gets “riled up for no reason”.
Kendall was hurt and felt that Corey did not respect her as a member of the family. She also felt that he was too involved in their personal matters and that he should have stayed out of it. She said that he was not her father and that he had no right to talk to her like that.
The Reconciliation
Three years later, Kendall and Corey seem to have buried the hatchet and moved on from their past conflict. In a recent episode of The Kardashians, which debuted on Hulu on Sept. 28, 2023, Kendall and Corey were seen chatting and bonding during a family trip to Cabo. Kendall said that she and Corey were close for a while before the Palm Springs incident, but they never really resolved their issues until now.
She said that the trip gave them an opportunity to slow down and actually spend some time together. She also said that she appreciated Corey for being there for her mother and for being a good person. She admitted that she was wrong for holding a grudge against him for so long and that she was happy to have him in her life.
Kris Jenner was delighted to see her daughter and her boyfriend getting along. She said that she loved both of them very much and that she hoped they would continue to have a good relationship.
