What can we expect from Season 3?
Rothwell recently talked with Vanity Fair about Season 3, and said she’s read all of the scripts. “I gasped out loud a minimum of five times and this was just me reading them,” Rothwell said. “The scripts are a testament to Mike’s skill and ability to tell the most smart and entertaining stories. I mean, everything that he does is like a lesson to me as an actor and a performer. And as a writer myself, he takes folks on a journey. Everyone needs to buckle up, because it’s going to get real!”
White also shared some details about Season 3 with Variety: “It’s going to be very different from anything we’ve done before,” he said. “It’s going to be very funny but also very emotional.” He added: “It’s going to be about how people cope when they’re thrown into an unfamiliar environment where they have no control over anything.” He also teased that there will be some surprises along the way: “There are some things that happen that you wouldn’t expect.”
Coon has not revealed much about her role yet, but she has expressed her excitement about joining The White Lotus family: “I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing show,” she said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter . “I’ve always admired Mike’s work and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.”
