Who are the other cast members of Season 3?

The third season of The White Lotus will be set in Thailand, as Variety exclusively reported in March. According to HBO, production will start in February 2024 in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. The cast includes:

Rothwell will reprise her role from Season 1, while Posey will join the show for the first time. Monaghan will also make her debut as Dr. Lee, while Isaacs will play Mr. Smith, a wealthy businessman who is involved with Belinda from Season 1. Bibb will play Mrs. Jones, a journalist who is investigating the resort’s practices. Hetrakul will play Mr. Khan, a chef who works at the resort’s restaurant. Thapthimthong will play Ms. Nee, a young woman who works at the resort’s spa.

What can we expect from Season 3?

Rothwell recently talked with Vanity Fair about Season 3, and said she’s read all of the scripts. “I gasped out loud a minimum of five times and this was just me reading them,” Rothwell said. “The scripts are a testament to Mike’s skill and ability to tell the most smart and entertaining stories. I mean, everything that he does is like a lesson to me as an actor and a performer. And as a writer myself, he takes folks on a journey. Everyone needs to buckle up, because it’s going to get real!”

White also shared some details about Season 3 with Variety: “It’s going to be very different from anything we’ve done before,” he said. “It’s going to be very funny but also very emotional.” He added: “It’s going to be about how people cope when they’re thrown into an unfamiliar environment where they have no control over anything.” He also teased that there will be some surprises along the way: “There are some things that happen that you wouldn’t expect.”

Coon has not revealed much about her role yet, but she has expressed her excitement about joining The White Lotus family: “I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing show,” she said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter . “I’ve always admired Mike’s work and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.”

When will Season 3 premiere?

HBO has not announced an official release date for Season 3 yet, but it is expected to air sometime in late 2024 or early 2025.
