HubSpot unveils new AI-powered tools for SMBs to boost sales and marketing

HubSpot, a leading provider of social media and digital marketing tools, as well as a customer relationship management (CRM) software platform, has announced a range of new AI features for its users. The new features, collectively called HubSpot AI, are designed to help small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) grow better by automating and enhancing various aspects of their sales and marketing processes.

AI Assistants to draft emails, design images, and brainstorm blog ideas

One of the new features of HubSpot AI is the AI Assistants, which can help users with various tasks such as drafting emails, designing images, and brainstorming blog ideas. The AI Assistants use generative AI to create content based on the user’s input and preferences. For example, users can ask the AI Assistants to write an email to a potential customer, create an image for a social media post, or suggest a topic for a blog article. The AI Assistants will then generate content that is relevant, engaging, and personalized.

AI Agents to automate and elevate customer service

Another feature of HubSpot AI is the AI Agents, which are virtual customer service attendants that will be launched next year. The AI Agents can help users fully automate, respond to, and elevate customer service across channels like live chat and email. The AI Agents use natural language processing (NLP) and natural language generation (NLG) to understand the customer’s queries and provide appropriate answers. The AI Agents can also escalate complex issues to human agents or transfer customers to other departments if needed.

AI Insights to provide predictive analytics for better decision-making

The third feature of HubSpot AI is the AI Insights, which is a predictive analytics tool for better decision-making. The AI Insights use predictive AI to analyze data from the user’s Smart CRM and provide insights that can help users optimize their sales and marketing strategies. For example, the AI Insights can provide deal health scores, which indicate the likelihood of closing a deal with a customer. The AI Insights can also project future sales with 95% accuracy, helping users plan ahead and allocate resources accordingly.

ChatSpot to leverage OpenAI’s GPT-3 for answering questions and crafting content

The fourth feature of HubSpot AI is ChatSpot, which is a chatbot that uses OpenAI’s GPT-3 model to answer questions and craft content for users. ChatSpot can access data from the user’s Smart CRM and provide information about their clients or business prospects, such as their funding status or contact details. ChatSpot can also help users create and edit marketing content and messages, such as headlines, slogans, or captions. ChatSpot is available in public beta and has already recorded 80,000 total users.

HubSpot’s VP of Product for AI, Christopher Miller, said that HubSpot AI is a platform-wide tool that helps SMBs grow better by leveraging generative AI and predictive AI. He added that HubSpot AI exists throughout the entire platform and offers various benefits for users.
