Kiev: The death toll from a Russian missile attack on a mall in Ukraine has risen to 16. The war between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for 4 months. Russian troops have captured key cities in Ukraine, including Mariupol and Kherson. Russia is currently attacking eastern Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia launched a missile attack on a crowded mall in the industrial city of Kramenchuk, Ukraine’s largest oil refinery. With more than 1000 people inside, the entire mall caught fire.
Sixteen people inside the mall were killed and 59 were injured in the attack. Ukrainian President Zhelensky has strongly condemned the attack, saying it was not an accident, but a deliberate one. “There were about 1,000 people in the mall at the time of the attack. I could not even imagine how many of these people would have been killed in the missile attack. They do not like to see people living normal lives. It is in that anger that Russia engages in such acts of sabotage, ”he said.
The United States, the United Kingdom, France and Canada have all strongly condemned the attack, which was condemned by the G7. The G7 says Russia’s heinous act is a major war crime. Meanwhile, five people were killed in an attack by Russian forces in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. More than 30 people were injured.
