The Canton McKinley Bulldogs showed no mercy to the GlenOak Golden Eagles in their second game of the season, winning by a whopping 49-0. The Bulldogs scored seven touchdowns, four of them by senior running back Kenyatta Huston, who rushed for 167 yards on 16 carries. The Bulldogs defense also shone, holding the Golden Eagles to only 85 yards of total offense and forcing four turnovers. The Bulldogs improved to 2-0, while the Golden Eagles fell to 0-2.

Massillon Tigers Edge Out Warren G. Harding Raiders

The Massillon Tigers had a close call against the Warren G. Harding Raiders, but managed to pull off a 28-21 victory thanks to a late touchdown by junior quarterback Zach Catrone. Catrone threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to senior wide receiver Martavien Johnson, who had 118 yards on six catches. The Raiders put up a good fight, led by senior quarterback Elijah Taylor, who passed for 186 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score. The Tigers remained undefeated at 2-0, while the Raiders dropped to 1-1.
